0:00/0:00

The Fur-nancial District.

Where fortunes are made and lost in a whisker.

Are you on the hunt for the next Big Fish? Ready to ride the Whale? Pump your friends into Crypto Fish? Dodge the crash? Buy the dip? Or take home those sweet, sweet dividends?

If so, suit up and sharpen your claws. The Market opens in 60 seconds.

Fat Cats Guide, 2-6 players, 8+, 30 minute playtime
Why would I trade?

You don’t have to! Trading’s completely optional. It’s there for when two players want different things. Maybe you’re convinced green’s about to tank, but the cat across the table is feeling lucky. So you offload your green fish for their cash, or a fish card they have that you want. Anything goes: swap fish, swap money, strike creative deals (e.g. “Trade me that card and I’ll pay you 10k every time it earns for the rest of the game.”)

Is it all just luck?

No, and that’s the whole game. The market is a balanced deck of 23 cards, and you only play 6. No colour climbs forever, so if red’s been up three rounds, a drop gets more likely. You never know for sure, but learning to read the History Row can give you an edge.

What’s a good strategy?

Your skill is in the decisions you make. When to buy, when to skip, when to hold your nerve, when to bail – all guided by what the History Row is telling you. Learn to manage your risk, and it’ll stop feeling like a coin toss!

How many players is best?

The game is designed for 2 to 6, but it really sings with 3 or more. More players means more market pressure, more deals on the table, more cats to outlast. 2 player plays as a tighter duel.

Why is all the money the same colour?

On purpose. Cash is the game’s hidden information. You can see what everyone’s holding, but not what they’re worth. Tracking six rounds of wins and losses in your head is hard. It keeps everyone guessing right up to the final reveal.
